Here's what to do before you start exploring the features on your iPhone. To transfer your number to a MicroSIM, just go to our simple online form. Make sure you have your new Micro SIM at hand as you’ll need the number on the back. You’ll be asked to log in to My account to complete this process, or register if you haven’t done so already.
Please note: To use the online form, you must be a pay monthly, small business or One Net customer in the UK.
If you’re a pay as you go customer, just call 191 from your Vodafone mobile or visit your local Vodafone store.
For Corporate accounts, please contact your account manager.
If you’re moving your number from a standard SIM, you’ll know your number has been moved to your MicroSIM when ‘Vodafone UK’ no longer appears on the home screen of the phone containing your standard SIM.

If your SIM wasn’t pre-installed, you must install it before you can use your iPhone. In the box your iPhone came in, you'll find a SIM eject tool. It's attached to the inside of the black booklet that contains the user guide.
There are three options for activating your iPhone if you have iOS 5 or above.
When you turn on your iPhone you can choose whether to:
Ensure you have Wi-Fi coverage (the process cannot be done using 3G), select the option you want, and then enter your Apple ID (the same ID you use to log in to iTunes). If you don’t have one already, you’ll be prompted to set one up. You then just need to accept the iOS terms and conditions, and your iPhone will be ready to use.

Before you can use your iPhone, you must set it up in iTunes. During setup, you can create a new Apple ID or specify an existing Apple ID for making purchases with iPhone. iTunes also records the serial number of your iPhone in case you need it.
