iPhone 11 Pro Max vs iPhone XS

Which one is best for you?

2019 marked the release of the first iPhone Pro Max model. A natural successor to Apple’s impressive Max series, 11 Pro Max is a big and beautiful phablet, superior in functionality to 2018’s excellent flagship, iPhone XS.

iPhone 11 Pro Max is a much bigger phone – its beautiful 6.5-inch OLED screen dwarfs the 5.8-inch display on iPhone XS. Of course that also means that iPhone XS – and its successor iPhone 11 Pro – are both easier to pop in a pocket.

Apple has made some big leaps in camera tech too. iPhone XS featured a 12+12-megapixel dual lens snapper, with wide angle and telephoto lenses. iPhone 11 Pro Max has the same set-up, plus a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens for more expansive landscape shots. The front camera has jumped from 7 to 12 megapixels, backed with Apple’s smart AI to ensure all your selfies capture the moment perfectly.

If you are looking for an upgrade, iPhone 11 Pro Max is a serious advance on iPhone XS. If you’re looking for a smaller device, however, 2019’s 11 Pro may be your best bet.
