P smart vs Galaxy Note9
Which phone is best for you?
The Note9 arrived in 2018 to widespread acclaim. Samsung managed to squeeze an unparalleled feature set into its latest phablet, making it one of the most powerful phones on the market. The P smart might seem like a much less impressive device, but you get a lot of phone for your money with this mid-range marvel.
Samsung’s early adoption of AMOLED technology is in full display on the Note9 – the dazzling 6.4-inch screen renders games and movies in stunning colour and pin-sharp resolution. A massive 8GB of RAM and a whopping 4000 mAh battery will allow you to run apps, play games and stream music or movies without interruption all day, and up to a Terabyte of storage means you will be unlikely to ever run out of space to store your photos, videos and more. Plus, the handy S Pen stylus will act as a pen, pencil, camera remote or even as a clicker for your pitches and presentations.
The P smart is a rather different beast – a mid-range phone with a price tag to match, but with features you’d expect to find in a much pricier model. The Leica dual camera takes fantastic pictures, the 6.2-inch LCD screen is unimpeded except for a tiny “dewdrop” notch which houses the 16-megapixel selfie camera. With Plexiglas construction and expandable memory up to half a Terabyte, the P smart is a serious smartphone at an affordable price.
