iPhone 7 Plus vs iPhone 6s

Bigger screen, 2x optical zoom and much more

iPhone 7 Plus may look like a larger version of iPhone 6s – but there are many differences besides screen size, including some serious upgrades.

One of the first you’ll notice is that iPhone 7 Plus has dual rear-facing cameras. They’re cleverly designed to work together, with one set to 2x optical zoom – so you can take stunning close-up shots with no loss of quality. iPhone 7 Plus also captures a wider range of colours than iPhone 6s, and also boasts a new ‘wide colour’ screen so you can show off your new images to full effect.

An equally impressive feature of iPhone 7 Plus is the A10 processor. Apple’s first quad core chip, it’s 40% faster than the A9 featured in iPhone 6s. A new ‘taptic engine’ brings improvements to the 3D touch functionality of iPhone 7 Plus, too.

Which will you choose?

As you’d expect, iPhone 7 Plus comes out on top in a straight comparison – but there’s no question that iPhone 6s is still a very desirable smart phone. It boasts similar great looks, plus a 12 mega-pixel rear facing camera, 3D Touch, and the impressive A9 chip. If you’re after a stylish phone that performs brilliantly iPhone 6 will not disappoint – but if you want a larger format phone with optical zoom and an even faster chip, iPhone 7 Plus is the one for you.
