iPhone X vs iPhone SE

Which one is best for you?

iPhone SE is likely to remain a popular choice among Apple fans for some time simply because of its small, pocket-friendly size. It has much the same specs as iPhone 6s, though it’s closer in appearance to iPhone 5S – a factor that may also appeal to nostalgia fans.

On the other hand, iPhone X, with its sleek new design, represents a leap forward in technology. Its screen goes right to the edge of the phone and even curves round to meet the smooth glass back. Plus, Apple have dropped the home button, so more of the front can be used for the screen.

iPhone X does have a small section at the top of the screen to accommodate new 3D sensors. These make face recognition more accurate, so you can unlock your phone simply by looking into the front facing camera. Plus, you’ll be able to create stunning selfies, and even map your own expression onto the new 3D ‘animojis’.

iPhone X features the A11 chip which can actually learn as it gathers information, so Face ID can adapt to changes in your appearance over time.

And, as well as the new screen technology and 3D recognition, iPhone X pushes ahead with a wireless charging system that’s compatible with the QI wireless chargers already found in hotels and airports around the world – so no more searching for a free socket when you’re travelling.

There’s no question that iPhone SE is a good buy if you’re looking for a smaller, capable phone which offers excellent value for money. If you're after more advanced technology and features, iPhone X may be a better choice for you.
