In 2017 Samsung broke new ground with the best screen on any phone to date. The Galaxy S8’s lavish curved-edge Super AMOLED Display elevated gaming on phones to a new level, and it had more to offer besides. The 12-megapixel camera takes excellent pictures, and has a user-friendly pro-mode that gives you much more control over the camera.
The camera on the S10e is a serious advance on the S8 – a 16+12-megapixel dual snapper with an ultra-wide lens which excels in any light and shoots Super SloMo video. The Infinity-O Display takes the S8’s screen advances a step further, with the front camera housed behind a pinhole notch in the screen’s corner, giving you a bezel-less viewing experience.
The fingerprint scanner has moved from the back to beneath the screen, and both internal memory and processing power have seen an upgrade, with 6GB of RAM ensuring seamless streaming of your favourite series. The S8 is still a great phone, but the S10e shows just what is possible.
