  • What’s the process for getting my broadband installed?

    First, we’ll send your Vodafone Broadband router, and confirm when the service will be activated. If you need a new phone line to be installed, we’ll book a date and time with you for an engineer to come to your home and complete the installation. The installation normally takes a few hours.

    If you do need a new line installed, the engineer will discuss your options with you, agree the best place to fit it and then install a new phone socket in your home.

    The best place to install it is usually close to your internet devices. Once installed, you just need to plug in your phone and router by following the instructions in the Simple setup guide that came with the router, and you’re good to go.

    If you don’t need a new phone line, just connect your router to the phone socket on the day of installation before 8am (following the Simple setup guide). Then leave the router on continuously until you have internet connectivity – it should be up and running by 7pm the same day.

  • How will my Vodafone broadband and home phone be delivered?

    We can deliver your order to your billing address in the UK and Northern Ireland. This needs to be the same address where your payment card is registered, and we can’t change any details once you’ve placed your order.

    Someone will need to be in to sign for your order. Otherwise, it’ll go back to your local DPD or Royal Mail depot, and the driver will leave a card with details of how to collect it or rearrange delivery.

  • What is the Vodafone broadband app?

    The Vodafone Broadband app enables you to manage the Vodafone Broadband router from a mobile or tablet.
    You can use it to:

    • Set up your Vodafone Broadband router with the simple setup wizard
    • Prioritise your favourite devices with the Boost feature
    • Set up Guest Wi-Fi access
