Charge to Bill Google Play

Vodafone Terms and Conditions for the Digital Content and Services on Google Play

These terms apply to your purchase of digital content and services available via Google Play (“Content”) and charged to your mobile bill in addition to the terms provided by Google Play.

1. What is the Google Play service?
The Google Play service is the official app store for Android smartphones and tablets. Google makes software applications, music, movies and books available for purchase and download through the store. It is managed and owned by Google Inc., a company incorporated in Delaware with headquarters at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").

The use of Google Play is governed by a contract between you and Google consisting of the Google Terms of Service and the Google Terms of Service Play. In addition, the use of Google Play is subject to the Business Rules and Program of Google Play (collectively the “Google Play Terms”) and the content/service providers own terms.

2. Using the service and purchase of Content from Google Play
Your use of the service implies full acceptance of these terms, the Google Play Terms and any third party content/service terms. Vodafone reserves the right to provide per transaction and monthly maximum spending limits to third party purchases via your mobile bill.

3. Third Party Content
The Content is provided by third parties and subject to change. We are not responsible for the Content within Google Play charged to your mobile bill. The Content is not connected to Vodafone and is provided by third parties. We do not accept any responsibility for any damage to devices that may arise from the Content.

The Content available via Google Play is subject to availability, mobile network coverage and mobile phone capability (when accessed and used via a mobile) and is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

4. Cost of the Content
The price of the Content will be the price advertised to you at the time of purchase or as notified to you by the relevant third party. In addition to the cost of the Content there may be data charges for browsing or downloading Content on your mobile in the UK. If you access the service outside the UK then you may incur browsing, downloading and other data charges at the standard data rates for roaming.

The cost of the Content will be charged to your pay monthly bill or deducted from your pay as you go credit. You will have sole responsibility for charges applied to your mobile bill through the use of Google Play. If you pay someone else's bill (for example a child’s), you might not see the text receipts confirming purchases made via mobile but you can still check My Vodafone to keep an eye on what they're spending on your online mobile bill.

If you're worried about your children accessing content that isn’t suitable for young people you can find out more information here. All of our new connections come with the age-restricted content bar switched on. This means your child won’t be able to access areas of the internet that aren’t suitable for young people. However, if the Pay monthly or Pay as you go SIM isn’t new, it’s worth checking that the bar hasn’t previously been lifted. As adult-only content is sometimes sold as premium rate text messages or in apps, games and music you may also wish to contact us to request other bars are applied.

5. Ending the service
Your rights to withdraw, cancel or return purchases and get a refund are set out in the Google Play terms.

6. Your personal information
You should only provide us with information that's accurate and complete where we ask you to provide such information. Please read our privacy policy for information on why and how we use your personal information and details on your rights in relation to such information.

7. General
The terms of this agreement won’t affect any legal rights you may have under any law, and which we can’t exclude. We’ll send you notices by email, post, text, voicemail or other form of electronic message. Please tell us about any changes to your contact details so we can contact you in relation to your order or use of our services.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you (and we) agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
