Price plans for iPad & tablets, dongles & Mobile Wi-Fi and SIM only internet plans (from May 2013 to 12 August 2013)

Price plan charges

There are bound to be times when your internet allowance doesn't last. So we think it's a good idea to know in advance how much you'll have to pay if you want more. The charges below will apply once you exceed your allowance or your allowance doesn't include the services listed in the UK or abroad.

Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. For more information about our services and current plans go to vodafone.co.uk.

Internet usage

How do you know how much internet allowance you've used? You can monitor your internet usage by checking the dashboard (on your desktop) or by logging into My Vodafone on vodafone.co.uk. When you're in the UK and when travelling we'll send you notifications when you're approaching your next charging point. For more information on the messages we'll send you and how to opt out read our notification information.

All of our plans allow you to use your mobile equipment as a modem, or as it is commonly known, tethering. However, you'll need mobile equipment that supports this function.

You may only use your SIM card in or connect it to, modems, dongles, iPad, tablets and/or laptops. You may not use your SIM card in a phone or in any other mobile equipment which is not set out above. If you do, we'll ask you to stop and in persistent cases, we will suspend your service, restrict your use or speed or charge you for unauthorised use.

If you do not have a Red "4G" Plan your data speed will be limited to 10Mbps.

Telegraph digital subscription

If your price plan includes the Telegraph digital subscription use of the subscription is subject to our Telegraph terms and conditions which are available at www.vodafone.co.uk/telegraphsubscription.

Internet charges in the UK

Each price plan comes with an internet allowance. If your allowance runs out and you want to use the internet, then you'll be charged at the rates described below. The charges below will apply even if you don't use all of the internet allowance and even if our content control prevents you from looking at content.

Text messaging in the UK and abroad

Text message (per message)
Standard UK text message (up to 160 characters) 12p
Text messaging worldwide (up to 160 characters) This is the charge for sending a standard text from the UK to another country. The same charge applies if you are abroad and you receive text messages to your mobile broadband account with the exception of texts sent from Vodafone. 25p

Text message costs will be shown on your bill as an additional charge. Please note, if we're charged an admin fee from a foreign network operator for you to receive a text, we'll pass this charge to you.

Internet charges abroad

We've divided the world into zones which carry different charges. As zones and charges change from time to time, please check www.vodafone.co.uk/internetabroad before travelling.

Our charges are based on a calendar day and calculated in Greenwich Meantime (GMT). Even when you're abroad, they'll be based on GMT rather than the local time in the country you're in.

When you travel abroad internet usage is rounded to the nearest MB for each day you use the service.

General

If you're unable to access certain websites, this may be because you have a content control bar on your account. To remove this, go to My Vodafone.

Reference to the UK excludes the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

All our services must only be used for your personal and non-commercial use. Use of the services is subject to this price plan guide and the pay monthly Airtime Conditions.
