Introducing the Vodafone Returning to Technology Programme


We’re passionate about helping all kinds of people make the most of their talents. That’s why we’re just as interested in what you’ve done before and what you could do, as we are in what you’re doing right now. And that’s especially the case when it comes to our technology careers. 
 
We believe that if you’ve already achieved great things in technology, you could play a part in taking our technology further, even if you’ve had a career break or you’ve been working in a different sector. 
 
Technology is absolutely critical to everything we do here – we’re constantly innovating and looking at how we can push the boundaries. The global projects we work on touch people’s lives in all sorts of ways, and we know that coming here after a break might seem like a daunting prospect. That’s why we have a dedicated Returning to Technology programme. 
 
We offer paid placements, lasting up to six months, designed to give technology professionals the chance to get back up to speed with the latest developments. You’ll be working on real projects on a day-to-day basis. It’s experience that will also give you useful insights into how Vodafone is delivering the technology of the future. 
 
At the end of the programme, if you’ve shown us you have what it takes to deliver the leading-edge technology our success has been built on, there’s every chance that your placement could turn into a long-term career with us. One that gives you the flexibility you need to enjoy a good work/life balance, and all the training and support you need to grow and rapidly progress.

We're looking for up to 30 people to join us on this six-month programme, based at our Bracknell or Newbury offices. It’s due to start in October 2014.
