Superfast speeds to your hub - or money off until it's fixed

If your broadband speed to your hub ever drops below our guaranteed speed, we'll give you a 15% discount until we fix it. Find out your guaranteed speed and how to claim your discount below.

What speeds am I guaranteed?

Superfast 1

We guarantee all Superfast 1 customers a minimum speed to the hub of 25Mbps, or money off until it’s fixed.

Superfast 2

We guarantee all Superfast 2 customers a minimum speed to the hub of 55Mbps, or money off until it’s fixed.

How to check your speed and claim

Step 1

Download the Vodafone Broadband app from the Google Play Store (Android devices) or Apple App Store (iOS devices) below, then open and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your hub.

Step 2

Your speed will be displayed in the app dashboard. If this is below the minimum speed of our Ultimate Broadband Guarantee, you will see a ‘Claim now’ button – select this and follow the instructions to claim your discount.

Step 3

Once claimed, your 15% discount will be applied to your account until we fix the issue.

We guarantee your speed to your hub because we can control it

Sync speed is the speed from your exchange to your hub. We use this speed as a measurement for our guarantee as it’s in the control of both us and the line provider.

But there are other speeds we don't control

Throughput is the speed from your hub to your devices at home. Throughput is more difficult for all service providers to control due to factors like location and number of devices, which is why we guarantee sync speed instead.

Things you can do to boost your speed

Keep your hub within range

Position your hub in an open space in the centre of your home for maximum coverage. The closer you are to the hub, the better your speed should be.

Avoid interference from other devices

If possible, keep your hub away from common electrical devices like microwaves, televisions, wireless speakers and fluorescent lighting to enjoy the strongest possible connection.

Keep your hub in an open space

Place the hub away from objects that can create physical barriers, like mirrors and furniture, to enjoy a more stable connection.

Change the channel

Having too many devices connected to the same channel can lead to a slow or intermmittent connection. If you’re still having issues, try using the Vodafone Broadband app to select a new channel.

35 Mbps & 63 Mbps average speed claim: 73% of customers on Superfast 1 receive speeds above 35 Mbps [and 61% of customer on Superfast 2 receive above 63 Mbps]. We base our average speeds on sync speed (the speed of your line from the street cabinet or telephone exchange to your router). Speeds may vary significantly by location and are dependent on all equipment meeting minimum specifications, being fully functional and working at full speed. The range of wireless equipment can vary according to the layout of your home. Other factors can also impact internet speeds, such as distance of your home from the network exchange, the number of people using the internet, the level of use of the internet and other environmental and technological influences.

Claims must be made via the Vodafone Broadband app. Your Vodafone router must be plugged in and switched on for sync speed to be captured.
