Having already helped over 46,000 small businesses with free guidance since our launch in May 2021, we have now partnered with Cisco to accelerate our goal of helping small businesses achieve success. We’re incredibly proud of the impact that working with such a prestigious partner will have for the small businesses we support; so much so that we have increased our commitment pledge, with the aim of supporting 150,000 small businesses by summer 2022.
Working with Cisco allows us to offer exclusive, free training courses to those visiting our V-Hub, with Cisco also participating in a number of our business.connected webinars and workshops, which take place weekly and cover a huge variety of essential digital skills.
Access to Cisco training is completely free, and V-Hub visitors need only to sign up and become an Enterprise Nation member to access a huge variety of e-learning modules. This digital training partnership covers everything from simplifying digital security to helping business owners choose the right connectivity options – all to ensure SMEs develop the skills they need to see their business thrive.
In addition to teaming up with Cisco, we also have the pleasure of announcing our new ambassador - entrepreneur and new BBC Dragons’ Den star Steven Bartlett, who’s supporting our vital small business training initiatives. Having started his own successful business at just 22 years old, Steven has first-hand experience of what small business owners want and need, and how using digital tools can have a huge impact on business growth and personal ambition, as well as passion and confidence.
As such, Steven will play a vital role in creating awareness of our business.connected programme, so that more and more business owners can utilise our free support.
