How does it work?

 

Extras

You can use your UK data packs (excluding Data Test Drive), Vodafone International and international allowances abroad with WorldTraveller, but no other extras. If you've got a 4G plan, your entertainment pack only works in the UK.

Your UK minutes, texts and data

There's no monthly commitment. Use your standard UK minutes, texts and data allowance with the confidence you do at home plus you won't pay a penny to receive calls or texts (excluding premium texts). And if you get close to your data limit, we'll send you a text to let you know, just like when you're in the UK.

Using your personal mobile abroad

We can also help you keep an eye on what you spend on your personal mobile when you're travelling - and save you money too.

Other charges

If you go over your UK monthly allowance, you will be charged our standard UK call charges. If you make a call or send a text to a country outside the country you’re roaming in (with the exception of the UK), you’ll be charged our standard international rates as well as the Vodafone WorldTraveller daily charge.

Opt in

Sole traders (1 connection): To opt in, call 5555 free or text ADD to 40508 from your Vodafone mobile.
Small and medium-sized businesses (2-99 connections): Opt in your whole business account, if you’re the main account holder:

  • Call 191 free from your Vodafone mobile
  • Call 03333 040 191 from any other UK phone (standard call charges apply)
  • Contact your account manager

Once you’ve opted in, you’ll pay a daily charge to make use of your UK plan’s minutes, texts and data while you're in our WorldTraveller Zone

By opting in to WorldTraveller, you’ll automatically opt out of the monthly spend limit for data in our WorldTraveller Zone, because you’ll be using your UK data allowance. You’ll still be opted in to the monthly spend limit in our Europe Zone, and countries in the rest of the world that aren’t included in our WorldTraveller Zone.

If you decide to opt out of WorldTraveller, you’ll automatically be opted back into the monthly spend limit for data in our WorldTraveller Zone.
