P20 Pro vs Galaxy Note8

Which one is best for you?

On paper, the Galaxy Note8 and Huawei P20 Pro are quite similar – both are big beautiful Android phones with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a high end device. But there are some key differences.

With the Note8, Samsung finally departed from their single snapper to offer their first dual lens camera, capable of taking superb photos, and 4K video. But it’s hard to top Huawei’s superb 40+20+8-megapixel triple-lens Leica camera, which allows you to take photos a pro would be proud of. Samsung excels on the screen tech as ever, with a stunning 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display rendering movies and games in pin sharp HD with rich colours and well-defined contrast.

Both phones have 6GB of RAM and plenty of storage. The Note8 benefits from more advanced waterproofing technology, but either phone should survive a brief dunking. The Samsung also comes with Samsung’s snazzy S-Pen stylus which you can use to draw, take notes, or as a remote control for the phone.

You won’t be disappointed with either of these high-end Android beauties – which you choose will depend what you want to use your new phone for.
