WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter can be downloaded directly from their respective websites. Gmail and YouTube can be accessed using your web browser.
If you don’t use the AppGallery to download apps, please remember that not all apps will have been optimised by developers for Android AOSP, so individual app experiences may vary.
However, there are several apps already available on the Huawei AppGallery, and other apps can be downloaded online or by using the Huawei Petal Search - Find Apps widget.
You can use Huawei’s Phone Clone app to transfer most of your existing apps on your current handset.
You will be able to download apps from the AppGallery, which is pre-installed on Huawei smartphones, and you can search for apps using the Petal Search - Find Apps widget. You can also use third party app stores such as Apkpure, or Web Version.
Please note that not all apps available from third parties will have been optimised by developers, so your app experiences may vary depending on the app’s level of Google Mobile Services integration.

However, we advise caution when downloading apps from unknown sources or third party app stores, as you could end up with a harmful file on your device.
The AppGallery is currently a work in progress. Any apps you can’t find in the AppGallery can be downloaded via a third party app store, or you can search for them using the Petal Search – Find Apps widget.
Some apps will be unavailable, including most Banking Apps. Huawei is working with global developers to continuously improve the platform. For the latest app availability please see the HUAWEI AppGallery.
You can also add your app request to the wishlist in the AppGallery. This will let Huawei know about your request, and you will be notified when it’s available.
Yes, it is legal to search for and download apps from third party sources. However, Huawei does not have any control over apps downloaded from a third party sources, or any liability for information published on third party websites or apps that are listed in search results.

Yes, your device supports In-App Purchases such as payment by bank cards and mobile phone billing. However, Google Pay is not supported.
