Using the Huawei AppGallery

What is the Huawei AppGallery?

AppGallery is the official Huawei app platform, like the Google Play Store or the App Store.

It's safe to use, and has a four-layer detection mechanism to ensure app security. You can search for, download, manage, and share apps in the AppGallery

Simply browse and download the apps you want and discover more exclusive offers, innovative experiences and fun, in-app activities.

It has over one million applications worldwide, and has had over 180 billion cumulative application downloads in the past year. Currently, there are more than 45,000 apps available.

What is the Huawei Petal Search widget?

The Petal Search - Find Apps widget is a search engine available to download from the Huawei AppGallery, on the latest flagship Huawei mobile service smartphones.

It allows Huawei smartphone owners to search and find everything they need, including apps, news, images and more, directly from the home screen of their device.

The AppGallery is completely integrated into the Petal Search - Find Apps widget and apps already available in the AppGallery appear at the top of any search.

We advise caution if you download apps from unknown sources or third party app stores, as you could end up with harmful files on your device.
