It's simple to set up an automatic top up. You can even use it to stay topped up while you're abroad, or to top up someone else's phone.
Just download the My Vodafone app and choose Top up from the main menu and select Auto Top up.
Alternatively, you can call 18829 (free from your Vodafone Pay as you go mobile) from the mobile you want to register and make your initial top up. Then choose how often you want your top up to automatically activate - weekly, monthly or every 30 days.

If you're a Pay as you go customer that's still on one of our Simply plans rather than on Pay as you go 1 or a Pay as you go Bundle, you'll be charged £2 for the first 50MB of the day, and 10p per MB thereafter.
Buying a Pay as you go Bundle could save you money. These come with generous data allowances to use for 30 days, and providing you don't use it all before the 30 days are up, you won't have to pay any daily data charges. It's really easy to buy a bundle online or on the My Vodafone app.
Alternatively, if you want to make sure you aren't using any mobile data and incurring any unexpected costs, you can simply turn off data on your phone.

If you've forgotten to do this and your credit's got a bit low, you'll hear a warning message when you start to make an outgoing call.
