Website development platform Wix is latest addition to the Vodafone Business Marketplace

The move is another way in which Vodafone is supporting the UK’s small business community at this challenging time.

The Vodafone Business Marketplace’s growing portfolio of tools and services for SME customers has a new addition following a recent partnership with cloud-based website development platform Wix.

Wix, a US-based website development platform with over 180 million registered users around the world, enables customers to create, design, manage and develop their own website, as well as add e-commerce capabilities, host a blog, or manage online scheduling and appointment bookings for a monthly subscription.

The move will enable Vodafone customers to get online and build their web presence, with access to Wix’s products and services via the Vodafone Business Marketplace. The move is another way in which Vodafone is supporting the UK’s small business community at this challenging time.

By subscribing to Wix via Vodafone, customers will have exclusive access to a dedicated website designer who will assist them every step of the way in setting up their website. Customers will also receive the first three months of their subscription absolutely free and have use of their domain name for the second year of their subscription at no additional cost.

Launched in October 2019, the Vodafone Business Marketplace is a web-based platform enabling customers to use and manage business applications from anywhere. Customers can purchase a number of tools and services via the platform including Microsoft 365 Business, Office 365 Enterprise, G-Suite, Vodafone Cloud Backup and Lookout Mobile Security.

Earlier this year Vodafone also launched V-Hub, a dedicated guidance platform for small businesses providing useful guidance and top tips for getting the most from their digital operations. In addition, V-Hub users also have access to a team of advisers to assist them with any issues they may have.

Anne Sheehan, Business Director, Vodafone UK said: “It’s essential that small businesses have the best possible digital tools if they’re going to survive this incredibly difficult period. Our Marketplace puts these tools together in one place – with unique customer benefits. This partnership with Wix is another way we’re helping customers to launch and grow their business online.”

Customers can subscribe to Wix via the Vodafone Business Marketplace.

We have a strong track record as a tech pioneer, making the UK’s first mobile phone call, sending the first text message, and making the UK’s first live holographic call using 5G in 2018.
