Swap your number from one SIM to another

Got a new SIM? Fill out your details below and we'll swap your number onto your new SIM. This normally takes about 30 minutes, but sometimes it can take up to 12 hours. Keep both phones switched on until this happens.

Looking for your SIM number?

It's the first 20 numbers written on the back of your SIM - or you can find it through your phone's menu (unfortunately, this isn't available on Android™ phones).

If you’ve got a nanoSIM, it’ll come with a prefix of 89441, followed by another 15 numbers.

You’ll need to swap your SIM if:

  • You've changed or upgraded your phone and it needs a different size SIM (check our handy guide to see what SIM you need)
  • Your phone’s lost or stolen
  • Your SIM doesn't work

If you’re new or you’re switching from Pay as you go to Pay monthly, you can keep your number by transferring it over.
