It’s important to report your phone lost/stolen ASAP. If someone’s stolen your phone, or found it, they could rack up unauthorised charges (outside of your allowance). But as soon as you report it, we block your SIM, preventing any further use. Unfortunately, you may have to pay for any unauthorised charges incurred before you reported it. • Report it within 24 hours: you may need to pay for unauthorised charges up to £100. • Report it after 24 hours but within 5 calendar days: you may need to pay for unauthorised charges up to £500. • Report it after 5 calendar days: you may have to pay all charges made outside of your allowance.
