Register a power of attorney
Let us know you’ve got power of attorney by filling out this form.
You can also use this form if you’ve been made a deputy (in England and Wales) or a controller (in Northern Ireland).
You’ll need:
An LPA access code. This is a unique code that you can get from the attorney named on an LPA (lasting power of attorney)
If the power of attorney is registered in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you’ll need a copy of the power of attorney document
Once you’ve submitted this form, we’ll contact you within 10 days to get you set up.

If the power of attorney is registered in England or Wales:

Access codes are 13 characters long and start with a V. You can find the code on the power of attorney document.
If the power of attorney is registered in Scotland or Northern Ireland:
