Amazon Fire Tablets

Amazon Fire tablets is a line of tablets developed by Amazon, which include the Fire Kids tablet (targeted at children aged 3 to 7) and Fire Kids Pro tablet (targeted at children aged 6 to 12). Amazon Fire tablets run on a custom version of the Android operating system called Fire OS.

These tablets come with a soft cover and give users access to thousands of apps, games, videos, books and educational content from organisations such as CBeebies and Disney through the Amazon Kids+ subscription.

Amazon Fire tablets do have built-in parental controls and safety settings available and these can be managed through the Parent Dashboard. For families with more than one child using the device, parents can set up multiple profiles and adjust the settings based on age and interests. The parental controls allow parents to restrict access to specific websites, location sharing, apps and games as well as set screen time limits and access ‘Activity Reports’ that show how your child has been using the device. These settings can be accessed by parents on their own devices via the Amazon Kids+ app.
