A ‘chat’ is a group chat where a user shares a voice message with friends, who can then add to it with their own voice recording. People can can create or join a ‘house’ on the app, which is a community of interest where people can meet regularly to chat.
Under 18 accounts are automatically set to private (although this can be changed).
There are no parental controls available on the app, however some safety settings are available. For example, any user can change their account to private. This limits who they can chat to and who can see their content such as their friends list. They can also allow ‘nsfw’ (not safe for work) content.
