Google Pixel smartphones

Google Pixel smartphones is Google’s line of Android-based smartphones, meaning they are powered by the Android operating system.

These smartphones allow users to use their touch-screen interface to surf the internet, take photographs, send emails and access millions of apps through the Google Play store. Since Android is created by Google, its smartphones are said to deliver a quality Android experience with fast, timely updates to software and security. Newer Pixel phones include a digital assistant app called Gemini that uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) to help with tasks like writing emails, creating pictures, learning about new topics or getting information from other apps such as Google Maps. A user can write text or speak to the Gemini app.

Google Pixel smartphones do have parental controls and safety settings available and these can be accessed through its Google Family Link app. This allows parents to block or restrict apps on their child’s smartphone, limit screen time and manage access to specific websites. Parents can use Family Link to view the location of their child’s device. They can also restrict apps and games on Android devices by using the Google Play parental controls. Android settings such as Permission Manager and Digital Wellbeing enable a user to monitor their screen time and control which apps can access personal information such as contacts list.
