The smartphones are positioned as a “great value, reliable option”. In addition to giving users access to Google Play’s app store, which hosts millions of apps, they can also do most of the things you would expect to be able to do with a smartphone, such as message friends or take photographs.
Parental controls or safety settings available
As an Android-based device, MobiWire smartphones use the Google Family Link app to provide parental controls. This gives parents the ability to:
• Set daily time limits and their child’s school time schedule, to reduce distractions during the school day
• Restrict their child’s access to specific apps, websites or features
• View the location of their child’s device
