Alcatel smartphones allow users to do things like stream videos, take photographs, send messages and access a huge range of apps from games to educational apps through the Google Play store.
Parental controls or safety settings available
Alcatel smartphones do have parental controls available and these can be accessed through the Google Family Link app. This gives parents the ability to:
• Set daily time limits
• Restrict their child’s access to specific apps, websites or features
• View the location of their child’s device
On Android devices, a user can prevent apps accessing personal data such as device location through the Permission Manager.
