Vodafone customers living, working and travelling in rural Northumberland are now enjoying faster 4G, thanks to a series of new masts placed along a 45-mile stretch of the East Coast Main Line.
The coverage is part of a project funded by LNER, which has seen eight masts go live between Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed.
The resulting improvements to Vodafone 4G provide stronger, faster data speeds, as well as higher quality voice calls, to passengers travelling on the service and to customers located nearby.
