Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world, action role playing game published by Warner Bros. Games. It’s available on gaming devices such as Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo as well as Windows PC.  The single player game’s 12+ rating reflects the use of some bad language and frequent moderate violence.

Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800’s (before the Harry Pottery novels). As a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a player takes a journey to reveal a hidden truth of the wizarding world. Players develop their magical skills, attend lessons, complete challenges and explore the School, the Forbidden Forest and beyond. Players earn experience points, which enable them to progress to new levels or access new activities. They can befriend other (non-player) characters.

Players of the standard edition can buy the Dark Arts Pack, which includes access to the Dark Arts Battle Arena. PC players can install the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, to create custom content in the game (called ‘mods’ or ‘modifications’). Players can link their Warner Bros. Games Account to their Harry Potter Fan Club account for some free in-game items.

Hogwarts Legacy does not include parental controls. Safety settings include Arachnophobia Mode (to reduce the appearance of spiders) and the ability to report inappropriate mods. Parents can apply parental controls on the device used for play.
