Today, Nokia is known for creating mid-range and more affordable smartphones. These devices still provide the key features and functions expected from a smartphone, such as WiFi connectivity, speakers and front and rear cameras for capturing images. In addition, users have access to millions of apps – from YouTube and Fortnite to artificial intelligence apps such as Google Gemini – through the Google Play store.
Nokia smartphones which run on Android do have parental controls available through the Google Family Link app. This allows parents to block or restrict apps on their child’s smartphone, limit screen time and manage access to specific websites. Parents can use Family Link to view the location of their child’s device. They can also restrict apps and games on Android devices by using the Google Play parental controls. Parents can use Android settings to prevent apps accessing the device location and to manage time spent online.
