Parental controls or safety settings available
Sony Xperia smartphones do have parental controls available and these can be accessed through the Google Family Link app. This gives parents the ability to:
• Set daily time limits
• Restrict their child’s access to specific apps, websites or features
• View the location of their child’s device
A user can manage screentime and prevent apps accessing location, contacts list or functions such as the camera through the Permission Manager and Digital Wellbeing settings.
