Vodafone introduces Speed Boost offering customers up to 2x faster speeds

Speed Boost is available as an always-on benefit for new and upgrading customers on Unlimited Xtra Global Roam plans, or via flexible add-ons for other Pay Monthly mobile plans.

Vodafone has launched Speed Boost, allowing customers to enjoy faster speeds on its network.

Whether it’s joining a work meeting on the move, using real-time navigation in a busy city, or streaming their favourite show in HD on a long journey, Speed Boost gives customers up to 2x faster speeds, the fastest ever available on Unlimited Xtra Global Roam plans – helping them stay connected when it matters most.

Speed Boost is available for new and upgrading customers on Unlimited Xtra Global Roam plans as an always-on benefit, with 24/7 prioritised data*. Alternatively, it is available as a flexible Add-on for all Pay Monthly customers.

Get a new phone every year with Vodafone Xchange on The Nation’s Network

New this September, Vodafone Xchange lets customers exchange their phone for a new one every year, with no early upgrade fees and nothing left to pay on their old Phone Plan**.

*Speed Boost: Users are prioritised up to 200GB, subject to their plan’s data allowance and max speeds. Speed Boost does not exceed a customer’s plan’s maximum speed. Instead, it helps customers reach and maintain maximum speeds in busy locations by prioritising their data. Compatible 5G devices only, see Xtra Benefits terms.

Xtra Global Roam tariff: Speed Boost is included for new and upgrading customers. Users are prioritised up to 200GB, subject to their plan’s data allowance and max speeds. This means this priority applies to customer’s first 200GB of data each month. Once they use more than 200GB in that billing month, the priority stops, and their data is treated as normal. For customers with Speed Boost included in their plan, data is prioritised at all times, not just during peak hours.

Speed Boost Add-on: Customers can enjoy the Speed Boost benefit for 1 day at £3, 7 days at £5 or 30 days for £10. Users are prioritised up to 10GB for a 1 day pass. Up to 50GB for a 7 day pass.
