Full Terms & Conditions:
- This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (excluding the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands) aged 16 or over. Entrants aged under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or carer.
- No purchase necessary; however, internet access, a valid email address and a device capable of scanning a QR code are required.
- Promotion Period: Participate between 11:00 BST and 19:00 BST on the 30 June 2026 inclusive.
- To Participate in the Challenge:
- Visit Vodafone’s 5G+ Serve at Wimbledon Park Tennis Courts, SW19 7HR, scan the QR code on site, complete the online form to provide your details (full name and email address) and consent to the participation waiver to join the virtual queue. For entrants aged under 18, their parent or carer consent to the participation waiver on their behalf.
- Once you receive the “join the queue” notification email, return to Vodafone’s 5G+ Serve, join the physical queue and show the QR code to a Brand Ambassador to participate in the Challenge.
- Maximum of 1 participation is permitted in the Challenge per person during the Promotion Period. No person may join the virtual queue more than once throughout the Promotion Period.
- The Challenge: Each participant will receive the opportunity to return 3 separate serves fired out of a robot arm on the opposite side of the court. Each serve will either replicate previous historic Wimbledon serves or live serves from this year’s Championships.
- Further Participation Details and Conditions:
- Entrants must return to the site within 15 minutes of receiving their “join the queue” notification email. Returning late may result in delayed participation or not being able to participate in the Challenge. The physical queue will close at 18:30 BST on 30 June 2026.
- Signing Up to the Challenge does not guarantee participation in the Challenge. Participants will be sent a “join the queue” notification email based on when space is available at the activation.
- Each participant will be able to choose the 3 serves they face from a list of options. The options will be provided at the Promoter’s discretion and will be dependent upon the time of participation. Due to factors beyond the Promoter’s control, such as breaks in play and rain delays, some participants may not be given the opportunity to return a live serve. In this case, a choice of pre-recorded serves will be provided.
- Moderation: The Promoter reserves the right to reject any participant whose actions at Vodafone’s 5G+ Serve, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter:
- are in breach of the Terms & Conditions;
- are offensive, harmful, objectionable, promote any political agenda or are otherwise prejudicial including with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, or could reflect negatively upon the name, reputation or goodwill of the Promoter or any brand partner; or
- are drunkenly, made intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, are abusive or threatening, make or incite racial abuse, are anti-social or damage the venue.
e. Participants must be of sufficient physical fitness to participate in the Challenge and by participating, the participant (or their parent/carer, if applicable) is accepting the physical risks associated with participating in the Challenge.
f. By consenting to publicity, each participant (or parent/carer on behalf of a participant):
- grants the Promoter (or the Promoter’s designee) the exclusive right to film, tape, sound record and photograph all their activities in connection with the Promotion. Everything filmed, taped or recorded by the Promoter (or the Promoter’s designee) shall be known as “Footage”; and
- irrevocably and unconditionally assigns to the Promoter with full title guarantee (and by way of present assignment of present and future rights) all intellectual property rights in any “Footage” throughout the world for the full unexpired period of such rights and all renewals, reversions and extensions of such period as may be provided under any applicable law throughout the world.
8. The Promoter may request that participants take part in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the participant’s discretion and is not a condition of participating in the Challenge.
9. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you participate in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your participation (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to bar you from participating in future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:
- Verify the eligibility of participants through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Any participation may be withheld until verification is completed.
- Disqualify signups to the virtual queue that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
- Disqualify signups to the virtual queue made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
- Disqualify bulk signups to the virtual queue from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete claims and claims submitted by macros or other automated means.
- Disqualify signups to the virtual queue and participations beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
- Disqualify participants who tamper with the participation process.
- Disqualify participants which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.
- Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, including but not limited to, adverse weather conditions.
10. Participants must complete their details using their legal name. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who uses multiple names or email addresses and to require them to forfeit their participation in the Challenge.
11. Participation in the Challenge is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation.
12. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the sign up page.
13. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (PV20531) or participating in the Challenge, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
14. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.
15. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used for the purpose of this Promotion and for research and analytical purposes by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: vodafone.co.uk/privacy.
16. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
17. By participating, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
18. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
19. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and their interpretation and application will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Residents of Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
