New Vodafone in Health division to accelerate the use of technology in healthcare

The creation of a new dedicated healthcare division builds on the long-standing expertise and partnerships that Vodafone has within the health sector.

Vodafone in Health has been established by industry expert Anne-Marie Vine-Lott to become a trusted advisor to the health sector, working in partnership with them to develop technology products.

Vodafone in Health will combine secure, modern and reliable connectivity healthcare expertise with best-in-class partners to support the delivery of better patient outcomes.

In creating the new division, Vodafone will build on its existing expertise and work with the NHS and other healthcare providers (both private and public). The intent is to create the building blocks for change and support the acceleration of digital transformation, freeing up workforce time and help drive increased efficiency and productivity.

How the 5G GigaCube is keeping surgeons and gamers connected

From living rooms to operating theatres, 5G-powered routers like Vodafone’s GigaCube can provide fast and reliable internet connections – a potential lifeline where traditional fixed-line broadband isn’t available or isn't fast enough.

Anne-Marie Vine-Lott, Head of Health for Vodafone UK, said: “I’m really excited to be leading the newly created Vodafone in Health division which will act as a technology advisor and innovation hub for all our healthcare partners and customers. Our focus is on supporting health providers to work beyond organisational boundaries. To help them drive better outcomes for patients through better connectivity and the modernisation of technology.”
