  • Vodafone Business Secure Access Gateway is a managed service which offers protection for users connecting to services, data and applications from any device and any location.
  • Vodafone Business Secure Gateway Access is underpinned by the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange™ Platform.

Vodafone Business has launched Vodafone Business Secure Access Gateway in partnership with Zscaler, a leader in cloud security.

As a managed service offering 24/7 monitoring and support, Vodafone Business Secure Access Gateway provides an ideal solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (250-2,500 employees) who are looking to accelerate their migration to the cloud, keep home-based or hybrid workers secure or protect their network by connecting the right users to the right apps and data without being compromised.

Cloud computing: Everything you need to know

These days cloud computing touches most aspects of our digital lives, from the apps we use to Vodafone’s mobile network itself. But what exactly is it?

Vodafone Business Secure Access Gateway uses Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange™, a cloud-native Security Secure Edge (SSE)-based and zero trust security platform, designed for the digital enterprise to ensure no entity (user or application) is inherently trusted until their identity is validated.

According to a recent Forrester report, businesses want more help from their Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to meet their growing cybersecurity needs, migrate to the cloud and better protect their digital environment.

Vodafone Business Secure Access Gateway has been developed to provide an agile, intelligent, and scalable cloud-based solution – ideal for businesses who want to replace their existing outdated security controls with modern, cloud-based services.

The cybersecurity threats facing every small business

For every online threat, there’s a shield to protect your business and your customers – here's everything you need to know, including how Vodafone Business can help.

Vodafone Business Secure Access Gateway offers two products – both available with standard features or with additional advanced offerings:

  • Secure Access Gateway ZIA: Zscaler Internet Access secures users as they connect to services and applications over the internet, whether it’s general internet access or using Software-as-a-Service applications such as Microsoft 365 or
  • Secure Access Gateway ZPA: Zscaler Private Access secures users as they connect to an organisation’s private services and applications.

Andy May, Head of Product and Propositions, Vodafone UK said: “In today’s digital age, SMEs must ensure their cybersecurity capabilities are as robust as possible. The financial and reputational risks associated with a data breach can often be devastating for a SME business, from which most would struggle to recover. By investing in robust cybersecurity measures, SMEs not only protect their own interests but also contribute to a safer digital ecosystem for all.

Cybercriminals can’t put the squeeze on this juice business

Mejuicer is a small business, yet its owner nonetheless feels well-prepared to deal with cybersecurity threats, thanks to help from Steven Bartlett and Vodafone Digital SOS.

“That’s why I’m delighted to launch this new end-to-end managed digital security solution with Zscaler. By combining their industry leading cloud security capabilities with our own secure, award-winning network, Vodafone Business Secure Access Gateway provides an effective solution in helping SMEs securely migrate their operations to the cloud – simply and securely.”

Josh Reiner, Senior Regional Vice President UKI at Zscaler said: “The new Vodafone service, powered by Zscaler, aligns with Vodafone’s overall strategy of Customers, Simplicity, and Growth. The service will enable seamless access to cloud and internet-based applications, remove complexities from legacy infrastructure, and provide scalability for all users, from any device, anywhere. We’re very excited about the partnership and how we can grow from here to support Vodafone on a wider scale.”
