With school holidays upon us, many parents are wondering how to keep their children entertained. Streaming videos, gaming or scrolling through social media will be top of the activity list for lots of children but how can parents feel confident that they are maximising the benefits of time spent online?

We recently polled 1000 parents and one third admitted to feeling concerned about online safety with extra screen time during the summer break.

It also showed that parents believe online safety should be taught from the age of five but that many aren’t sure where to start.

That’s why we want to help parents like you have important conversations with your children early on about how to build healthy digital habits.

In partnership with Andersen Press, we are offering 10,000 free digital copies of Chicken Clicking, Troll Stinks and Old Macdonald Had a Phone, written by author Jeanne Willis and illustrated by Tony Ross. The books explore themes of internet bullying, managing screen time and being mindful of internet predators in fun and engaging stories.

Download the books for free below along with a fun activity sheet.
