In recognition of Armed Forces Day, Vodafone is reaffirming its commitment to the UK’s military community by launching a series of significant initiatives to expand support for serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and military families.
Vodafone has been announced as the Presenting Partner of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2025 – one of the world’s most iconic military and cultural events.
This sponsorship supports the Tattoo’s mission to bring military pageantry and performance to a global audience, while reinforcing the traditions and stories of the Armed Forces.
Vodafone has renewed its Headline Sponsorship of UK Armed Forces Rugby (UKAF), continuing its role in championing sporting excellence and fostering community across the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force.
The company is also the Headline Sponsor of the International Defence Rugby Competition (IDRC), an international tournament that embodies the values of determination, teamwork and resilience shared by both rugby and military life.
Vodafone announced as Presenting Partner of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
Vodafone has announced a new two-year partnership with the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, becoming the event’s exclusive presenting partner within the telecommunications sector.
The new initiatives build on Vodafone’s long-standing record of supporting the Armed Forces.
As a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and a Gold Award holder in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, Vodafone is committed to providing meaningful, practical support to service personnel and their families.
These partnerships reflect the organisation’s ongoing appreciation and its active role in honouring those who serve, as the company proudly celebrates the bravery, discipline, and service of the men and women of the Armed Forces – not just today, but every day.
The company’s efforts go well beyond sponsorship, however. Vodafone has developed dedicated career transition programmes to support veterans moving into civilian employment and actively recruits ex-forces personnel, recognising the leadership, problem-solving and teamwork skills they bring.
Flexible working policies are also in place to accommodate reservists and military families, helping them balance the demands of service with civilian life.

Supporting the Armed Forces is a core part of Vodafone’s identity – not only as a business, but as a responsible employer and proud member of the UK community.
