On Saturday 18 April, the 'One World: Together at Home' digital event curated by Lady Gaga and organised by Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation, will feature a roster of world class artists performing live from their homes in support of health workers fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Vodafone is a partner in the project.
Artists from all corners of the globe, including Coldplay’s Chris Martin, John Legend, opera star Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion and Sir Paul McCartney, will perform and deliver messages of support, thanks and hope to the millions of people affected by coronavirus around the world.
The eight-hour event, hosted by US presenters Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, will be streamed live from 7pm Saturday on digital channels such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.
Highlights will be broadcast on BBC One at 7.15pm, Sunday 19 April.
The event aims to drive public support and encourage the private sector to continue helping with the COVID-19 relief efforts.

Vodafone, which has partnered with Global Citizen on the project, will showcase Vodafone Foundation’s latest phase of DreamLab.
DreamLab is an app that uses the processing power of your smartphone – while you’re sleeping – to crunch complex scientific data. Working alongside Imperial College London, the app has been further developed to help speed up research into effective treatments for COVID-19.
Since relaunching the second phase last week, the app has been downloaded by more than 13,000 people, taking the total to more than 125,000 downloads.
With more than a billion people expected to tune in to Saturday’s event – either live or on catch-up – the hope is that more people will download the DreamLab app to help speed up the crucial research needed to tackle coronavirus.
