More than 50,000 Sainsbury’s eGift Cards, ranging from £2 to £1,000, are up for grabs for Vodafone customers ahead of the August 2025 bank holiday weekend.
Vodafone is giving away a £1,000 Sainsbury’s eGift Card to one lucky winner through its award-winning loyalty programme, VeryMe Rewards. Vodafone customers can get involved by entering VeryMe Rewards Spin to Win for a chance to win one of more than 50,000 eGift Cards ranging from £2 to £1,000.
With the August 2025 bank holiday coming up, there will be something for everyone to get excited about with a Sainsbury’s eGift Card. Customers can choose to spend it on home and garden products, a new summer wardrobe, beauty essentials, meals, snacks and more. What’s more, winners can redeem their eGift card in store and online.
The VeryMe Spin to Win competition will run from 18 August to 31 August 2025. Customers can head over to VeryMe Rewards on the My Vodafone app and spin the wheel once a day for the duration of the campaign. To be in with a chance of winning the £1,000 eGift Card, customers must land on entries to the £1,000 eGift Card prize draw. The lucky winners of all the other prizes will be notified instantly via VeryMe Rewards.

Vodafone customers can access VeryMe Rewards through the My Vodafone app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

To enter, you must tap Spin on the wheel in VeryMe Rewards to see if you’ve won before the closing date. Each prize will be randomly allocated according to a pre-allocated algorithm. Using this method, only one entry per day can be submitted per VeryMe Rewards user. If you’re a winner, you’ll be instantly notified via VeryMe Rewards. On the notification message, tap Claim my prize and you’ll then be presented with instructions on how to redeem your prize.
To win entries to the £1,000 eGift Card from Sainsbury’s prize draw, you must land on extra entries to be in with a chance to win the £1,000 Sainsbury’s eGift Card. There is one prize of a £1,000 eGift Card from Sainsbury’s to give away. You can spin the wheel a maximum of once per day in VeryMe Rewards, for the duration of the Spin to Win campaign. With each spin, you’ll have a chance to win either 1, 5 or 10 entries into the £1,000 Sainsbury’s eGift Card prize draw. The maximum number of additional entries that can be accumulated is 130, with a maximum total number of entries of 140.
The winner will be selected independently, at random, within 60 days of the closing date. We’ll SMS the individual winners using the number associated with the My Vodafone app. The winner will be required to respond via SMS within 48 hours to claim their prize. If we haven’t received a response within 48 hours of contact, we’ll pick another winner. Those not contactable by reasonable means may be disqualified and an alternative entrant awarded the prize on the same basis described above. To claim the prize, you must be a current Vodafone customer at the time you’re contacted about winning. The winner will be asked to send their name, phone number and unique reference code to the email address provided. You’ll be required to email the prize provider and confirm contact details by 31 October 2025.
To redeem either your £1,000, £500, £100, £50, £20, £10 or £2 eGift Card prize, you must scan your unique barcode at any checkout in-store along with your qualifying items (up to the value of £2–£1,000), dependent on the eGift Card amount you won via the Spin to Win mechanic. Any items over the eGift Card amount will be charged accordingly. Codes must be presented live in the app. Screenshots won’t be accepted. Using this method, one entry can be submitted per user.
Winners will have until 31 October 2025 to claim the Sainsbury’s eGift Cards between the value of £2–£1,000. If the prize isn’t claimed by 31 October 2025, they’ll lose access to the prize via VeryMe Rewards and will forfeit their prize value.
