Vodafone Business launches ‘Learning Curve’, a brand-new podcast series aimed at inspiring entrepreneurs

Vodafone Business has teamed up with entrepreneur, founder and CEO Michelle Kennedy to launch Learning Curve, a new podcast series aimed at founders, business leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs.

In her role as podcast host, Michelle Kennedy will interview a variety of business leaders on the areas that can shape business success.

Michelle brings a wealth of business knowledge and experience having left her previous role in the online dating industry to start her own tech company, Peanut – the leading online community for women to connect and find support throughout fertility, pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause.

With recent accolades including Fast Company’s Most Innovative 2023; TIME100’s Most Influential 2022; and Apple’s Trend of the Year 2021, Peanut has become a coveted destination for women and has raised more than $23m (£18.5m) in capital.

In Episode 1 Learning Curve, Michelle catches up with Elfried Samba, co-founder of Butterfly 3ffect and former Head of Social at Gymshark, to discuss brand marketing and the philosophies entrepreneurs can embrace to help grow their own business online.

Learning Curve launches on Wednesday 7 June with new episodes going live every Wednesday throughout the month. In addition to brand marketing, the series will cover investment planning; protecting your business; and tips for developing a strong workplace culture.

About Vodafone UK

Vodafone UK is a technology communications company that connects people, businesses and devices to help our customers benefit from digital innovation. Our services span mobile, fixed-line connections, home and office broadband, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

We have a strong track record as a tech pioneer, making the UK’s first mobile phone call, sending the first text message, and making the UK’s first live holographic call using 5G in 2018. We were the first to start carrying live 5G traffic from a site in Salford, Greater Manchester and now have 5G in locations across Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain as well as the UK. Meanwhile, our 4G network coverage currently reaches over 99% of the UK population.

Today, Vodafone serves more than 18 million mobile and fixed-line customers in the UK. Vodafone is the largest provider of full fibre in the UK – our superfast broadband services are now available to nearly 12 million homes across the UK.

Sustainability is also at the heart of what we do: as of 1 July 2021, 100% of the grid electricity we use in the UK is certified to be from renewable sources.
