Our Planet Pillars

Our goal is to cut carbon emissions for our UK operations to net zero by 2027. We’re making our business and network as efficient as possible, moving to an electric fleet, and have already switched to 100% renewable electricity. We’ve switched on the UK’s first self-powering phone mast, and UK-based renewable power sources will fulfil around 44% of Vodafone UK’s annual energy requirements by 2025.

Circular Economy

Businesses play a critical role in steering the economy towards a more circular model. To adopt circular practices at scale however, they need to do so while protecting their profit margins. At Vodafone Business, we’re here to help our customers choose the right devices to meet their sustainability agenda and renew devices less frequently.

Enabling Technologies

By finding the right solutions to help improve your environmental impact, you can move closer to towards meeting your net zero targets, track and monitor your emissions, and make the most of hybrid and remote working.

We’re harnessing the power of enabling technologies to reach net zero within our own UK company by 2027 – and we can help our customers do the same.

Vodafone and WWF are partners with a shared belief that tackling the climate and nature crisis needs everyone (individuals, business and government) to work together to find solutions and drive the action we desperately need for people and the planet.

We also recognise the technology we use every day can play a critical role in the decarbonisation of society and the restoration of nature. That’s why we’re committed to helping businesses move towards ways of working that leave a positive impact on the planet, by providing them with the knowledge, technologies, services and support they need to take steps towards a better future for everyone.
