Vodafone Broadband referral promotion

Terms and conditions

The Vodafone Broadband Referral Promotion (the "Promotion") is being promoted by Vodafone Limited (company number 01471587) having its registered office at Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire, RG142FN England (the "Company"). Please read the following terms and conditions ("Terms") carefully. These Terms govern the Promotion.

1. In these Terms, the following words will have the following meanings:

  • a. "Participant" shall have the meaning given to it in clause 2 below;
  • b. "Product" means a new Vodafone Broadband 24-month plan or Vodafone Pro II Broadband 24- month plan purchased online from vodafone.co.uk;
  • c. "Referral Link" means the link revealed on the referral platform which is accessed by following the unique link that the Company shares with the Participant;
  • d. "Reward" means a £60 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card for Vodafone Broadband, and a £120 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card for Vodafone Pro II Broadband;
  • e. "we" or "us" means the Company; and
  • f. "you" means the Participant taking part in this Promotion and "your" shall be construed accordingly.

2. The Promotion is open to eligible UK residents aged 18 and over who receive a Referral Link and purchase a Product from us for the first time ("Participant"). Employees of the Company are not eligible for the Promotion. This Promotion is not valid if redeemed in store, over the telephone, via Live Chat or via third party sellers such as The Carphone Warehouse.

3. Participants must purchase the Product directly after following the Referral Link. If a Participant clicks on any other websites or advertising in between the Referral Link and purchasing the Product, we will not be able to track the sale or pay the Participant a Reward.

4. You must not cancel your Product within 45 days of the service activation date for your Product. If you cancel within this time period, you will not qualify for this Promotion and we will not issue a Reward to you.

5. There is a limit of one Reward per Participant. The Reward is not negotiable or transferable.

6. The Promotion excludes, without limitation, phone plans, airtime plans (whether pay as you go, pay monthly or SIM only), upgrades to Vodafone Pro Broadband, VOXI plans, mobile broadband plans, Home Broadband plans other than Vodafone Broadband and Pro II plans and affiliate offers (comparison sites for example). No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted. We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of Participants. We may require such information as we consider reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of Participants (and their compliance with these Terms) and Rewards may be withheld unless and until we are satisfied with the verification.

7. Following successful validation of purchase, you will be emailed a confirmation. Please note, this email does not confirm that you will receive a Reward; receipt of a Reward is subject to your compliance with these Terms. Following successful validation that you have not cancelled your Product within 45 days of your service activation date, you will be sent an email containing your Reward.

8. In the event of fraud, abuse and/or an error affecting the proper operation of the Promotion, the Company reserves the right to end or suspend the Promotion, and/or amend these Terms.

9. The Company reserves the right to substitute the Reward with a reward of equal or greater value.

10. Participants' personal data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the Promotion. 11. The Company reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Promotion and/or review and revise these Terms at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the Promotion subsequent to any revision of these Terms, you shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended Terms.

12. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter or Facebook or any other form of social media. By entering this Promotion, you are providing information to the Company and not to Twitter or Facebook and agree to release Twitter and Facebook from any liability associated with the Promotion.

13. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Company, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances accept any liability to you for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of the Promotion whether such liability arises in contract, tort (including without limitation negligence) or otherwise. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law, including without limitation liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your statutory rights are not affected.

15. These Terms shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
