Got your device back?

We’re really happy you’ve got your device back. Let’s get you set up so things can go back to normal.

Here’s what to do next:

1. Got a SIM?

If you have your old SIM back, you can continue using it. Skip ahead to step 2.

Or need a new SIM?

2. Unblock your device and remove any bars

Put your old/replacement SIM in your device, and then:

Finally, remove any bars that might be protecting your account – like a data bar.

  • If you made an insurance claim: And your insurance has paid you for the stolen device, then unfortunately we cannot remove it from our redlist and it will stay unusable. Find out how to replace your device

That’s everything - you’ll be able to use your phone when it has signal and the Vodafone symbol – this can take up to 24 hours, but it's usually much faster. 

Let’s tighten security

  • If you’re worried that someone may have accessed your personal data while your phone was lost or stolen, change the passwords for your online accounts, like your email, and online banking. 
  • Turn on your device finder so that you can remotely lock or locate your device if you lose it, or it gets stolen in the future.
