What's Battery Refresh?

If our Battery Refresh Tool shows your phone battery is struggling to keep up, we'll replace it. Simply visit us in store and we'll send it off to be replaced, free of charge. Our Battery Refresh covers you for two to three years, dependent on the length of your plan.

Who's eligible for Lifetime Service Promise?

Any customer who bought a phone on Vodafone EVO from 26 July 2023 onwards is eligible for Lifetime Service Promise. This includes all refurbished phones.

The latest Samsung phones are the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S24+, and Samsung Galaxy S24. The S24 series was released in January 2024.

There are three different wattage wall chargers – 15W, 25W and 45W. A 15W charger is for standard charging – this can be used for all Samsung devices. The Super-Fast 25W charger for fast charging is for devices which are Fast Charge enabled. Check your device to see if it is Fast Charge enabled.

The 45W Samsung-approved charger can only be used for specific devices - S22 Ultra,

IP rating (Ingress Protection) is a measurement of how well your phone copes with dust and water.

Samsung Galaxy S Series and Galaxy Note Series phones are designed to be water resistant with an IP (Ingress Protection) rating of  IP68 -  - they are water-resistant up to a maximum depth of 1.5 metres in freshwater for up to 30 minutes. 

The Samsung Galaxy Z Series phones have an IPX8 rating - this means you can unfold the phones freely, even when caught in the rain*. However, it doesn't mean that they are dust-resistant. 

Some Samsung Galaxy A Series phones such as the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G are IP67 rated for water resistance, meaning they can withstand up to 1.5 metres in freshwater for up to 30 minutes. 

Always check the manufacturer description for the IP rating for your specific device.  

IP67 - This rating is based on test conditions of submersion in up to 1 metre of freshwater for up to 30 minutes - which differs to the 1.5 metre freshwater depth testing of IP68-rated devices. Samsung advises to rinse off any water residue or dry your device if it gets wet. Samsung devices are not advised for beach or pool use and may not be water resistant if submerged in soapy water. 

IP68 and IPX8 – These devices can be submerged to a depth of 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes. This is based on test conditions for submersion in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. Samsung advise IP68 and IPX8 devices are not for beach or pool use.

You can transfer data from your old Samsung Galaxy device to your new Galaxy phone by using Smart Switch.

Before you begin the process, you will just need to download the Smart Switch app on both your old and new devices (where applicable), and check that your app has been updated to the latest version.
