Pro Broadband

It partly depends on where you live. New customers in a full fibre area are eligible to get Pro 3, and new customers in a part-fibre area are eligible to get Pro 2.

Both Pro 2 and 3 come with 4G Broadband Back-up, Super WiFi Booster, Broadband Xpert support for 90 days and Secure Net Home.

Our Super WiFi Boosters work by extending your router's signal – extending your WiFi coverage throughout your home. Find out more about how WiFi Boosters work

It depends where you live:
You need to be in a full fibre area to get the fastest broadband speeds. Our fastest plans are our full fibre Pro 3 plans that can offer up to 2.2 Gbps. Use our postcode checker to find out what speeds you can get.

How many people are using it:
You'll get the most out of the top speeds when you’re using lots of devices in your home. This makes it perfect for large households where everyone is online at the same time. Download large files, stream in 4K and game online – all without interruption.

And how modern your devices are:
No single device will be able to get the maximum 2.2 Gbps on its own, but to make sure you’re making the most of the top speeds, your devices should:

• Have WiFi 6 or faster

• Connect using a wired connection

• Be updated to the latest version of the operating system (OS)

Older devices, and those with WiFi 5 or less, will still be able to connect – they just won’t get such fast speeds.

Our 4G Broadband Back-up is a dongle device that uses mobile data to keep you connected if your broadband goes down. It plugs into your router and will automatically switch to our award-winning, reliable 4G network if your internet ever goes down. You'll have a 100GB mobile data allowance each month to keep you connected until your broadband starts working again. At that point, it will switch back to your broadband automatically.

The speed and strength of your mobile data signal can vary depending on your location. If you have good Vodafone 4G signal strength and you’re browsing the web or checking emails, you shouldn’t notice much difference. If you’re gaming or streaming in high definition, you may notice slower speeds depending on your signal strength. For the first 90 days after installation, our Broadband Xperts will actively be working in the background to make sure you’re re-connected if you experience any outages.

Mesh WiFi, also called Whole Home WiFi, creates better WiFi coverage in your home. It uses multiple access points, often called boosters, to create a mesh network which shares your signal, creating a long-range WiFi network.

With our Pro, Pro II, and Pro III plans, you’ll receive a WiFi Guarantee.

If you’re having connection issues, we’ll send you a WiFi Booster which should improve the connection throughout your home. We’ll send an extra two WiFi Boosters for any areas you’re still struggling to connect in.

If you’re still not able to connect properly, we’ll let you leave your contract for free. This is part of your WiFi Guarantee. Find out more in our terms and conditions

You can check your WiFi performance by chatting with our WiFi Xperts.
