How to switch broadband

Whether you're with BT, TalkTalk, Sky, or another provider, it's simple to switch to us.

Choose your plan

Depending on your provider, you may need to let them know you're switching.

Pick your installation date

Your equipment will arrive three days before your confirmed installation date.

Ready to go

On installation day, your switch will be complete. Any issues and you may get compensation.

Do I need to cancel my broadband before switching?

If your current broadband provider uses the same network that we do (we use Openreach and CityFibre), or you’re keeping your landline number the same, we’ll usually be able to let them know that you’re switching.

If you don’t choose to keep your number and your current provider uses a different network to us (i.e, you’re switching from Community Fibre or Virgin Media to Vodafone), you'll need to let them know. If you're unsure which network they use, please contact them.

When can I switch broadband providers?

You can switch at any time. However, if you’re in a fixed contract, you may have exit fees for leaving early.

Are leaving fees covered?

If you took out a Full Fibre 150, Full Fibre 500, Full Fibre 910, Full Fibre 1.6Gbps, Full Fibre 1.8Gbps or a Full Fibre 2.2Gbps plan and were charged leaving fees, you can apply for our switching credit offer for an equivalent amount – up to £50 on Full Fibre 150 and up to £100 on Full Fibre 500 and above. This will be given to you as account credit. Switching credit amount includes VAT.

We'll contact you within 30 days of your broadband activation with details on how to claim your switching account credit.
