International Saver (before March 2018)

Vodafone International Saver

Who can get Vodafone International Saver?

Our Vodafone International Saver 100 and Vodafone International Saver 500 allowances are available to consumer customers on Pay monthly bundles. They allow you to make calls from the UK to destinations outside the UK.

How it works

You’ll need to opt in to Vodafone International Saver. For information on how to opt in and to find out which countries are included, see www.vodafone.co.uk/international.

Once opted in, you’ll be able to use the minutes in your allowance to call standard landline and mobile numbers in any of the destinations included in the allowance. The minutes cannot be used for:

  • calls to the UK (which includes the Channel Islands and Isle of Man);
  • calls to premium-rate and non-geographic numbers;
  • international calls made while abroad;
  • SMS;
  • MMS; or
  • video calls.

Charges

Vodafone International Saver gives you a number of international call minutes each month, measured in one-second increments. There’s a one-minute minimum call-charge. Unused minutes from one month cannot be carried over into the next one.

Once you’re opted in, the applicable Vodafone International Saver charge will be applied automatically to your bill every month until you opt out and, because it’s taken in advance, you’ll be charged the full amount for every month that you are opted in, including if you opt out half way through the month.

Once you’ve used up the minutes in your allowance, you’ll pay our standard international charges for any international calls you make. To avoid paying these standard international charges when you have used up your Vodafone International Saver allowance, you may want to consider opting in to Vodafone International and, for a monthly charge, make calls to destinations outside of the UK for less. You can opt in to Vodafone International Saver and Vodafone International at the same time. For the latest charges, go to www.vodafone.co.uk/international

You can have Vodafone International Saver 100 and Vodafone International Saver 500 applied to your account at the same time, but you can’t have more than one of each allowance at the same time.

You can opt out of Vodafone International Saver at any time by texting REMOVE INTL100 or REMOVEINTL500 to 40506. We’ll aim to remove it from your account immediately and you will be billed the full monthly charge.

If you opt out of Vodafone International Saver, you’ll be charged our standard charges when you make a call to a country outside of the UK.

If you have international calling bars applied to your account, opting into Vodafone International Saver will remove them. This will enable you to make calls to and receive calls from destinations outside the UK, not just those that are included in the Vodafone International Saver bundles. To call destinations that are not included in Vodafone International Saver, you will pay our standard international charges. If you remove Vodafone International Saver from your account, the international calling bars will not be reapplied automatically. To opt back into the international calling bars you will need to log in to My Account.
