1. Introduction

These terms apply to the voice calls made or received (excluding premium rate, maritime and satellite calls), texts sent and data used outside the UK by Vodafone customers.

2. Europe Zone

Calls made by you are charged in one second increments with a thirty-second minimum call charge. Calls received by you are charged per second, with a minimum call charge equivalent to the minimum call charge in your standard price plan. Text messages sent by you are charged at a flat rate and no texts will be taken out of your home bundle or price plan. Calls and texts sent by you from Gibraltar, Lichtenstein, Norway, Iceland, Guadeloupe and the French West Indies are all charged at the ex-VAT rates.

3. Asia Pacific and the Rest of World zones

Calls made by you are charged in sixty-second increments with a one-minute minimum call charge. Calls received by you are charged per second, with a minimum call charge equivalent to the minimum call charge in your standard price plan. Text messages sent by you on pay monthly are charged at a flat rate per text, plus the standard text messaging charge set out in your price plan (including any inclusive texts, if available). Text messages sent by you on pay as you go are charged at a flat rate price per text message.

4. North America Zone

Calls made by you are charged in sixty-second increments with a one-minute minimum call charge. Calls received by you are charged in sixty-second increments, with a minimum call charge equivalent to the minimum call charge in your standard price plan. Text messages sent by you on pay monthly are charged at a flat rate per text, plus the standard text messaging charge set out in your price plan (including any inclusive texts, if available). Text messages sent by you on pay as you go are charged at a flat rate price per text message.

5. General

1. Calls to toll-free numbers within the visited country will be charged at the applicable zone flat rate price for making a call in that country.
2. Charges for premium rate and satellite calls (including maritime) will vary according to the cost charged by the foreign network operator and exchange rate fluctuations and include minimum charges. A network-handling fee will be applied to these calls. If a foreign network operator charges Vodafone an administration fee for you to receive a text message on their network, Vodafone will pass this charge onto you.
3. Any inclusive minutes given to you as part of your price plan cannot be used for Vodafone World calls. Pay as you go text packs and Vodafone Freedom Packs cannot be used for text messages or calls made from outside the UK.
4. If a call made to you whilst abroad is diverted, you will be charged for receiving and making a call unless the call is diverted to your voicemail. We will not charge you if someone leaves you a voicemail.
5. All charges include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
6. Vodafone cannot guarantee access to or coverage within any foreign country.
7. If you use data when outside the UK, we will charge you using the data-roaming charges. These charges will be in 1KB steps and rounded up to the nearest penny at the end of each session. If you use data outside the UK, the usage is not eligible under extras packs and data bundles. When sending and receiving a picture message, data transfer charges apply and depend on the size of the message. Data charges and additional information can be found at vodafone.co.uk/dataroaming
