Vodafone Chili TV January Surprise & Delight Terms & Conditions January 2019

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials for the Vodafone January 2019 Surprise and Delight campaign.

Promoter: Vodafone Limited, Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 2FN.

Administrator: TLC Marketing UK Ltd, 17a-19 Harcourt Street, London, W1H 4HF.

  1. Eligibility: To be eligible to claim any offers, the customer must have received an invitation via SMS/Text message from Vodafone UK. The Gift is not available to employees of the Promoter and Administrator, except where the Promoter or Administrator employee has a personal contract.
  2. Promotional Period: The promotional period is 2nd January 2019 to 12th January 2019. Eligible customers must reply MOVIE to the invitation message by 12th January 2019 and then use their voucher to claim the reward within 24 hours of receiving it.
  3. The Gift:
    1. £10 credit + 50% off 1 movie rental per month for 6 months at Chili TV (see full offer terms below). The offer must be activated by, and discount voucher code used by 23.59.59 of 31 May 2019.
    2. £10 credit can be used against any content within the “Special Selection” collection here: www.chili.com/uk/specialselection. The section is made up of around 1,000 titles which are frequently refreshed. Movie selection is subject to change.
    3. £10 credit will be valid against rentals in all formats
    4. Credit must be used by the 31st May and does not need to be used all in one transaction Customer can then watch their movie within 28 days from the point of selection (the “choice”) and 48 hours from the first “play”. 
    5. Movies can be viewed either on CHILI website or via the CHILI app
    6. Each Customer that activates their code on CHILI will receive monthly, for 6 months, a 50% off code valid to rent a movie, chosen from within all CHILI’s digital movies catalogue. These codes must be used by 23.59.59 of 30 November 2019.
    7. Movies will be available in all formats (SD, HD, HD+) in VOD (rent) option
  4. Exclusions:
    1. One promotional code can be claimed per customer within the promotional period
    2. The offer is open to new and existing CHILI customers
    3. The promotional discount is only available to individual consumers invited by Vodafone UK
    4. Only one promotional discount can be used per order
    5. A promotional discount cannot be used: after an order has been placed; or in conjunction with any other offer or discount
    6. Promotional discounts are: only available while supplies last; non-transferable, not for resale, and not redeemable for cash; and valid only for the products/services set out above
    7. Vodafone and CHILI reserve the right to withdraw, amend or cancel a discount offer at any time.

  5. How to participate:
    1. Eligible customers will receive a message from Vodafone UK asking them if they would like receive a free gift  
    2. Customer will need to reply ‘MOVIE’ by 12th January 2019
    3. Customer will then receive a reply SMS from Vodafone containing a Unique Claim Code and URL to claim their Free gift.
    4. Customers must follow the URL (www.chili.com/promotion) and enter their voucher code before the expiry date stated in the reward SMS. Once entered, user will need to login or register to receive their free movie credit and discount. This will automatically be credited to their account upon login. Once applied, customers will have until 23:59 31st May 2019 to use their credit and download their free movie rental.

  6. One claim/ entry per offer, per person.

  7. The Promoter and the Administrator accepts no responsibility for any registrations that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, lost, damaged, delayed or fail to reach the Administrator.

  8. The Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to require customers to provide further verification as to proof of purchase. In addition, the Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to reject those claims, which it considers, in its absolute discretion, are fraudulent or invalid.

  9. Your claim will be deemed invalid if (including but not limited to) you;
    1. Are not an eligible Vodafone customer (as defined in paragraph 1 above);
    2. Have not used your gift within the allotted deadline;
    3. Have failed in any way to otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions and corresponding partner Terms and Conditions as determined by The Promoter or the Administrator in its sole discretion.
    4. You have not replied to the offer message from Vodafone UK within the correct timeframe and in the designated manner

  10. The Promoter and the Administrator reserves the right to replace any reward with one of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond its control.

  11. Gifts are not for re-sale, cannot be auctioned or exchanged and are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

  12. Insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the Administrator, nor its associated companies, will be responsible or liable to compensate the customer, or accept any liability, for any personal loss or injury occurring whilst using any Offer, neither can they guarantee the quality and/or availability of the services offered when using the Offer and cannot be held liable for any resulting personal loss or damage. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

  13. Your data will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and in accordance with our privacy policy at www.vodafone.co.uk/privacy. The customer details will be passed on to the Administrator for the administration of the Gifts.

  14. This promotion is administered by TLC Marketing UK Ltd (TLC), PO Box 468, Swansea SA1 1RH.   15. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

  16. These terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by the laws of England and Wales and eligible customers irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
