Conditions of participation

Promotion campaign
Buy a new Fairphone 3 at one of the participating resellers and receive a set of Fairphone Modular Earphones free of charge.

Organiser of this promotion campaign
This promotion is a product-plus promotion of Fairphone B.V., Jollemanhof 17, 1019GW, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The handling is done by 10XCREW, Don Bocostraat 4, 5611 KW Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Fairphone B.V. has the right to terminate the promotion prematurely or change the conditions of participation. This applies in particular to cases of force majeure and in the event that the proper implementation of the promotion campaign cannot be guaranteed for technical and/or legal reasons.

The customer's personal data will be collected, stored and processed for the purpose of fulfilling the requested reward by 10XCREW on behalf of Fairphone. Fairphone will retain the customer data to provide the customer with service on his/her product. Customers can find the Fairphone Privacy Policy here

Campaign flow

  1. Consumer buys Fairphone 3 from one of the participating resellers.
  2. Reseller communicates about promotion campaign, and links to the campaign URL promotions.fairphone.com
  3. Consumer visits campaign URL and registers purchase.
  4. Within 2 working days the registration will be checked, and the consumer will receive a response via email.
  5. The modular earphones are sent to the consumer within a maximum of 60 days after registration.

Promotional period
The promotion is valid from May 4, 2020 to May 31, 2020, or as long as stock lasts. It extends to a new promotion device Fairphone 3 purchased from a participating
Fairphone reseller (only for private customers, not for dealers/resellers). Purchases made before or after this date can unfortunately not be considered.

Registration period
Registration for this campaign must be made online at  www.promotions.fairphone.com between May 4, 2020 and June 15, 2020. An incomplete registration or a registration that arrives after 23:59 on June 15, 2020 will not be accepted.

Each device (each IMEI number) can only participate once in the promotion. Only one Fairphone 3 can be registered per person.

Free reward - while stocks last
Valid registrations receive one unit of Fairphone Modular Earphones (RRP 49,95€, EAN: 8718819375210) free of charge within 60 days of registration.

Pre-requirements for participation in the promotion

  • Eligible are private end customers from 18 years of age with residence in one of the following European continental countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holy See (Vatican City State), Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK.
  • Purchase of a Fairphone 3 within the promotion period as a new device. Only devices purchased through participating Fairphone resellers.
  • Private sales/purchases as well as sales/purchases via online auctions and sales/purchases of used devices are excluded.
  • A copy of the proof of purchase for the purchased Fairphone 3 with the following information:
    • Invoice date/order date
    • Complete type or product name
    • Purchase price
    • Information about the reseller

Excluded as participants
Employees, executives and representatives of the organiser and its affiliated companies, as well as persons commissioned by the organiser. Consultants and advertising agencies.

The law of the Netherlands applies.
