Terms and conditions

Here you can find useful information about the prize draw including how to enter, the prize, and how it will be run.

How to enter

  1. The prize draw will open at 9am on 12 March 2018 and close at 11pm on 31 March 2018.
  2. To enter you must text Google free from your Vodafone mobile to 97888. You’ll be sent a text with the following question and need to reply by texting either A, B, C or D.

Which of the following can you do on a Google Home?

  1. Get real-time answers
  2. Manage everyday tasks
  3. Control your smart devices
  4. All of the above
  1. Using this method, one entry can be submitted per person. 
  2. Your entry must not be inappropriate, offensive or illegal or in breach of another person's rights. We’ll disqualify such entries without notice.
  3. Sorry, but you can’t enter this prize draw if:
    • You don’t live in the UK
    • You’re under 18 years old 
    • You’re not a Vodafone customer
    • You’re a Vodafone employee

Winner and Prize

  1. There will be three winners.
  2. The winners will receive a Google Home Set which includes 1x Google Home, 1x Google Home Mini, 1x Google WiFi and 1x Google Chromecast.
  3. The winners will be selected independently, at random, from all eligible qualifying entries. We’ll contact the winners by calling the phone number the winners entered with. We will make three attempts to contact each winner over a three-day period. If we don't receive a response from a winner by the third attempt, we’ll pick another winner.
  4. If the prize isn’t available for any reason, we’ll replace it with a prize of equivalent value.
  5. We don’t allow you to transfer your prize to someone else and we won’t give you cash instead.

Publicity & Content

  1. We will use your details to run the prize draw and contact you if you win. If you do not win, we may send you marketing relating to Vodafone or Google products.   2. By entering the draw, your name may be shared and published. For the winners’ names please send a stamped addressed envelope to The Lifecycle Marketing Team, Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, RG14 2FN by 14 April 2018.
  3. While we’ll try to fulfil our obligations to run the prize draw smoothly, we’ll not be responsible if something happens that’s beyond our reasonable control.
  4. We reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify you without notice if you tamper with the entry process, or don’t comply with these rules.
  5. By entering the prize draw you accept these terms. Our decisions are final and we reserve the right not to enter into detailed correspondence with you.
