Data Test Drive

If you’ve bought a bundle before 25 June 2016 that comes with Data Test Drive, we’ll waive our standard data charges if you exceed your UK data allowance for the first two months of your contract.

We’ll let you know how long Data Test Drive will last and monitor your data use. Towards the end of Data Test Drive we’ll send you a text summarising how you got on, whether you exceeded your data allowance and the monthly cost of adding additional data to your bundle.

If you want the additional data, just send us a free text to 97888 within three days of receiving the text from us, and we’ll apply it to your bundle. You can remove the additional data from your bundle at any time by contacting us; we’ll remove it from your next bill and your data allowance and charges will revert to the original amount in your bundle (including standard data charges for additional data use).

Don’t forget you can check your data usage at any time on My Vodafone, the My Vodafone app (available on iPhone, Android and BlackBerry) or by calling 44555 (free from your Vodafone mobile).

Data Test Drive isn’t available with bundles bought on or after 25 June 2016. It's for data use in the UK only and doesn’t apply to 30-day SIM only, Mobile Wi-Fi, data dongles or bundles where data isn’t included. Data Test Drive is also not available with Vodafone EuroTraveller, Vodafone WorldTraveller or Vodafone Ireland Plus. If you move to a different bundle during Data Test Drive, it won’t transfer to the new bundle so you’ll be charged our standard data charges if you exceed your data allowance.

Don’t forget that after the Data Test Drive, if you exceed your UK data allowance our standard data charges will be applied.
